We go way back – almost two decades of fabulous friendship! When our hubbies started their own biz building new homes in 2010, we jumped at the chance to try our hand at design. HERE'S THE PLAN...
MODULE 1: FOUNDATION
Get clear on your vision by building your own one of a kind ‘DESIGN TOOLKIT’. This module teaches you how to lay the foundation for design selection success equipping you to make sure no crucial details are missed. By the end of Module 1, you will know how to: build a detailed design brief, prioritise your must-haves vs nice-to haves with our ultimate wish list, find your dream home style, create a vision board, and utilise key design fundamentals.
MODULE 2: FRAMEWORK
Liveability before looks is the framework for a functional new home. In this module you will learn how to confidently commit to super important structural design elements and we’ll help you get it right, first time to avoid costly mistakes later. By the end of Module 2, you will know how to: finalise your floor plan and design a fabulous façade prior to approvals, create an electrical plan (it’s more than just lighting) and find the ideal cabinetry layouts for your new home.
MODULE 3: FINISHES
Foundation and framework in place now we move onto the fun stuff! Using our game changing cheat sheets we’ll guide you through exactly how to choose all the right colours, materials, fittings, and fixtures for your new home. By the end of Module 3 you will be able to: compare materials based on cost, quality, and maintenance to confidently select everything for your new home from tiles and trims, flooring and finger pulls to paint colours and panelling.
MODULE 4: FINE TUNING
Don’t let self-doubt steal your joy. In this module you’ll learn how to use flat lays and mood boards to fine tune your selections and ditch the design decision doubts during construction of your new home. By the end of Module 4 you will have learnt: how to source samples to create a flat lay, master mood boards and start specifying all your selections ready to hand over to your builder before construction begins.

Selections Made Simple is our 4-week online program designed specifically for those building a new home from the ground up. It’s the ultimate new home design course, where we’ll teach your how to confidently commit to the selections for your new home.
How long does the course take?
4 weeks, but feel free to work at your own pace. We’re busy mums we understand life gets busy, right?! There’s no pressure from us we’re here to cheer you on!
What if I'm too busy? I don't have lots of time!
We'll let you in on a secret... our course will actually SAVE you time when it comes to your selections process. You can go at your own pace and there's no rush to complete! You know your timeline, you know what works, so our course can work around you.
Modules will be released once a week for 4 weeks total. Then, you can access all content at once - ensuring a no-rush process.
Who is the course suitable for?
Selections Made Simple is for anyone building a new home that’s wants the confidence to lock in their design selections without the common decision doubts or fearing they’ll make a major mistake.
How do I access the content?
As soon as you sign up you will receive an email from us with a link to your Student Login page and a link to the private Facebook group.
Once the course commences, every week you’ll get an email with a new module. It’s that simple.
How much does Selections Made Simple cost?

How long is the course? Can I do it at my own pace?
The online course is delivered over 4 weeks, 1 module per week. Every Monday afternoon (AEST) we'll email you a new module to work through that week. The other students from your intake will be working through the same materials at the same time, so you can share and ask questions as you go via our exclusive Facebook community.
Is the course 100% online?
Yes, it is. If you have an internet connection, you can do the course. #easypeasy
What if I sign up and can't make the start date?
No problemo, you can move through the course at your own pace. Turtle or Hare it’s totally up to you. Catch up when it suits you, or even repeat the course as often as you like.
Can I share my login details?
